My Team
"The yard is my parents' pride and joy, horses have been their mutual hobby ever since before they got married and they live for the breeding, training and general top class management of their very special horses. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have them as parents and supporters of my career."
From Left to right: Gerald is part of the furniture, although he only works half days he has been part of the team since I was a kid tearing around on ponies and he is the one that starts the education of the youngsters. Tom is the new kid on the block has just started working as a groom. Michelle has been with us for 4 years as a part time groom and is a great organiser on the yard. Tracy has been my competition groom since the end of 2010 and she travels everywhere with Alf and Andy is our nanny at home and away! Pete manages all the fields and does all the outdoor work as well as helping out on the yard when the girls need him. John started a year ago as the new stud manager. Ben has been the handyman for the entire facility for years, anything that's not working...Ben will fix it and anything that is needed, Ben can build it! Amy started just over a year ago and grooms full time and goes to shows as and when her allocated horses compete, she is also our feed manager and has a passion for cleaning so she is ideal for our yard where we like to keep standards high. Lara is the stable jockey and has been with us since 2010, she makes it possible for me to go away as she keeps the horses that I leave at home ticking over as well as working the ones I don't have time for on a daily basis. Clare has been with us for 5 years and is a true part of the yard spirit; she has backed some of our home breds and grooms the young ones at home and at shows. And last but not least, my Irish Terrier "Sherlock".
I am very lucky to have such a hard working and loyal team behind me and my horses and each of them play a part in making what I do possible, as well as creating such a fun atmosphere on the yard for both 2 and 4-legged beings!
